Driven ever onwards by positivity, empowered by determination

Driven ever onwards by positivity, empowered by determination Jen and Sue Blackwell on stage at Women in Business Stevie Awards New York. Jen giving acceptance speech

Inspired by learning disability

Every person is different

Every day we listen we learn more

Every life improved directly impacts 10 others

We want to share joy, passion, hope, positivity, knowledge gleaned, not ‘in spite of’, but rather ‘because of’ 44 years turning perceived norms upside down!

Jen will invite you to experience her world empowered through dance. Whether performance or mass participation involving everyone, you’ll be inspired, and intrigued to know more of the inner workings of the unique charity DanceSyndrome, her Dancing Family.

Innovation is Anthony’s cultural norm and mindset. He has designed and delivered creative solutions from childhood through into adulthood in work and in play.

Malcolm and Sue will share their improbable journey through life offering hope, along with a healthy dose of incredulity! So many challenges, barriers and negativity to navigate, but after turning life upside down and with Jen fulfilled and happy, we are able to live the lives of our choosing.

For parents/carers – we want to encourage you to foster hope and opportunity

For teachers – we present ‘the art of the possible’, sharing a world where it’s ok for people with learning disabilities to have aspirations

For lecturers/nurses/social workers – we want you to look at people with learning disabilities differently, to appreciate the potential within

For business – DanceSyndrome is all about teamwork, about maximising and unlocking potential, about inclusive leadership and innovation, about being energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic, driven

For events – we offer innovative, thought provoking presentations through speaking and dance.
